Hello!

The posts consist of what I have learned while writing this novel, hints, tips, the great things about self-publishing - and there are many - to selling your book online.      “I read your book last week. It was terrific. Historical based fiction with a great spy twist... wow... you're like the new Fredricka Forsythe.... count me as a fan!  Keep up the great work. I'm thrilled to be able to say I know a great author.”

“I do congratulate you.  I think Harbinger of Secrets is a brilliant piece of work.”

“I'm amazed at the amount of research you must have done. We live in England and you conveyed London, Brighton and the country town so well, it was all so English and I really felt that I was in the 1940s. Your description of the sinking of the ship with men being burnt alive and in the oily sea shocked me. I didn't realise that they died like that in the sea. I finished the book last week and am still thinking about it.”

“You are a wonderful writer, and as I am a book ‘nut’ I would rate Harbinger of Secrets at number 1.  I have read it twice, and it leaves me wanting for more -- maybe a sequel !!  Keep on writing, talent like yours should never be wasted.”

“I read a few pages of Harbinger on Sunday and decided that I must get some things out of the way before going further.  I was right to do so as I was completely captivated by the story and characters.  I loved the cold war spy writers and I know they would have enjoyed your novel as I did.  Congratulations on your ability to express yourself in a true British fashion.  I could go on and on,  but I am sure that you already have a sense that Harbinger is a wonderful first novel.”

“I have been meaning to write for weeks to tell you how much I absolutely (and honestly) LOVED your book.  Seriously, I could not put it down.  I am so impressed with how engrossing both the story and the characters were.  One of the best books I have read all summer.  I will tell anyone and everyone to read (and buy) it.”

“I was on  vacation last week and I took the time to enjoy your book for the second time around.  You have done an amazing job.  Very intriguing with all the "twists" involved with the characters.  I think you should get busy on your next book!  Congratulations once again.”

“I just wanted you to know that I just started and finished your book within about 3 days. It was very well written and I didn't want to put it down. What an amazing job you did!  You must be thrilled.”

“Well, what a wonderful read your book was.  I couldn't put it down and read until the wee hours of the  morning.  Your characters were enticing and your plot wonderfully web-like.  If god had been a character I would have believed he/she was capable of 'murder and mayhem.'  Your settings and descriptions therein truly set the tone of the action.  I must say I am with Eve and Bevan re. the shabby-chic feel of the lodgings.  Esp. felt drawn to Bevan's home and the last place in Sussex.  Talk about mood setting.  Eve's lack of a home-base was so very much in character with who she was. 'Twas a jigsaw puzzle where all the pieces fit so very, very  well.  Well could go on and on.  What a first novel!  Can't wait for the second.”

“...and I plan to purchase another eight books to give to each of the couples that were at the party.”

“I have now read Harbinger of Secrets - congratulations!!!  I really enjoyed it - it captured my imagination and I found myself thinking, this would be a great movie!  I can't imagine the number of hours writing and re-writing all these years - but you have created a wonderful story of which I am sure you are extremely proud - you should be.”

“I loved Harbinger of Secrets, by the way. I also had my wife read it because her tastes in literature are vastly different from mine. She raved about it too. You've got a winner there!
